Ideal Tracking is a lightweight fleet tracking tool that helps dispatchers follow their vehicles in real time. An administrator generates a short, vehicle-specific access code and hands it to a driver, who enters it on their phone to start a shift. While the shift is active, the driver's phone reports its position about every two minutes, and the dispatcher sees every vehicle on a live board alongside its status, speed, and last reported time.

Past shifts are saved as trips, so the team can review routes, distance, and reporting history after the fact. The app installs to the home screen on Android and iOS, keeps the screen awake during a shift, and is designed to work on the move, even on a weak connection.

It is built for small and mid-size transport operations that need simple, honest tracking without installing hardware or signing drivers into accounts. Dispatchers manage vehicles and codes from a clean admin console; drivers only need a phone and a code.
